DO NOT FEED THE ANIMAL. This does more harm than good and worsens our ability to assess the animal. 

Do not handle any wildlife with bare hands. If the animal needs to be contained or removed from a harmful situation, use gloves or a thick towel. Place the animal in a box and make sure that there is ample air flow. Place a towel under them so that they don't slip. Keep the animal in a dark, warm, quiet place out of direct sun. Always wash your hands immediately after handling wild animals.
